First year for White Camas! They have distinctive smaller, more delicate and more greenish yellow leaves than regular camas. Can’t wait to see the flowers. Seeds sown in 2009, they really should bloom this year.

All the shootings stars are sprouting: tall white and the two shorter purple varieties. Also now up: all the ‘new’ varieties of IRISES, including the pale yellow, darker yellow and purple-yellow types, brodiaea of the white, purple and rose-purple colors, pale blue and purple camas, little rose pink Hookers onions, new penstemon leaves of all kinds, the two new varieties of Delphinium- Columbian and some other variety which starts with a T (which seem to be much hardier than the Nuttelii and Menzensii I’ve been trying to grow which never seem to come back), yellow Desert Parsley seedlings and bought plant, Yellow Draba , mature Indian Paintbrush, the beginnings of Vanilla Leaf shade ground cover which we’ve had no luck with in the past…these might work. Also new Wild Ginger leaves, some fern leaves, some of the trillium bulbs, two of the fawn lilies, and even one Yellow Bells bulbs!- those have never come back before.
